Setting up the Office Timeline for My Project Proposal

When I decided that I was going to propose my first project with my company, I really did not know where to begin.  I had never done such a thing before, and I was worried that I was not going to be able to put everything together properly.  This really worried me, as I felt that my proposed project was something that the bosses would likely go for, I just had to make sure that I presented it to them right.  I had to be able to show them the timeline for the project in a way that was easily understood, and so I needed to set up an Office Timeline that stood out above the rest.  In order to find the resources that I needed in order to get the job done right, I ran a search on the internet in order to find the best way to present my timeline.

Office Timeline

The internet turned out to be a great tool in figuring this all out.  I found a website that provided a whole bunch of templates for sales plans and project timelines.  These templates were all extremely easy to use, and they made my entire job a whole lot easier.  I was able to map everything out with ease so that they would be able to see just how successful this project would be in the long term.  I was able to show them my plans for the future of the company in a way that anyone would be able to understand even if they were not part of the business at all.  Once I put all of the data into the template, it mapped it all out for me, and I knew that I would be able to show my bosses that this was a plan that was almost guaranteed to work.

Well, utilizing these tools, I gave my presentation the other day.  I noticed that they immediately seemed impressed by the way that I had put the data together.  They looked very interested from the moment that I showed them my charts, and they immediately began asking me questions about my plans.  I had been nervous going in, but the fact that they found interest in my presentation from the very beginning helped me to ease my nerves quite a bit.  Rather than stumbling over my words clumsily, I gained confidence from the very beginning, and I think that gave them even more confidence in my plan.

This was the first project proposal that I have ever done, but it was a resounding success.  I owe it all to the tools that I was able to find on the internet.  With these tools, I was able to put forth my plan confidently, which helped me to get through the proposal without a hitch.  I really am glad that I did all of the research that I did and was able to put the data together in such a good way.
